As the story goes, he was commissioned by the Sultan of Brunei to make various unique pieces featuring the most famous cartoon mouse: Mickey Mouse. After obtaining special licensing from Disney, Genta went on to produce many Disney themed iterations of his brevetted digital jump hour watches.
This particular example is a 36mm, automatic reference G.3632.7 and has a particularly early serial placing it in the late 1980s and making it amongst the first ever produced. It features a stunning Mother of Pearl dial and a funky dial and the retrograde hand being the Mickey’s arm.
