The ’Scarabeo’ (meaning Beetle) is a very rare and incredibly designed watch. It features a solid, oversize rectangular steel case with dented enamel stripes going across the whole front section of the watch, the same striping is further complemented by the original steel that follows the same lines.
The dial is an incredible example of a ‘degradè’ or gradient colouring ranging from bright orange to a tobacco brown hue on the outer edge. The large applied indices add an enormous amount of depth to the dial, with contrasting yellow paint on the end to blend in all the chromatic tones.
