Universal Geneve Compax Rose Gold 'Tropical'
One of our favorite brands has to be Universal Geneve: their approach to watchmaking was uniquely design centred, creating some ‘universal’ calibres that would easily cross-fit amongst a plethora of incredibly crafted cases.
The Compax was UG’s 3 counter chronograph line and in this case it is featured in an oversize, 37mm case. The brand is also renown for their special use of the copper-rich ‘red’ gold - a very unique alloy of the noble metal with strong reddish overtones.
Featuring an in-house 287 calibre, the largest of the commercially produced Martel calibres, the watch has a very important presence on the wrist. To top it off, the ivory coloured dial has patinated in a spectacular and homogenous way to almost match the rose gold color of the indices.
Definitely a one-of-a-kind piece. Now available
